The room was quiet, the check-in process was easy, and I loved the local meals at the on-site restaurant.

We loved the fact that the Hotel Gloria was a nice mix of modern hotel and family-friendly pensione. Security was good but the front-desk is unmanned after-hours which cuts down on the constant hustle & bustle of a large scale hotel....  

The staff is always gracious. The room service is good and the breakfast is excellent.

Cozy beds in a nice double room here. the bathroom was pretty clean and the bathtub drained well 🛁.

The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with a wide variety of options including scrumptious scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, and different breads. It was a great way to start the day and kept me full for hours....  

A clean and well-lit place, and a particularly fine restaurant.

At check-out, my bill was 109 Euros and 10 cents. I presented, in cash, 109 Euros; but I did not have the 10 cents, only another 100 Euro bill. "Might you", I reasonably requested, "have 10 cents floating around?" The receptionist stared with blank eyes. "Do you expect me to finance your room?", He asked. "I'd hardly call it finance, I'd call it courtesy. The kind of thing one finds in America or Norway or South Africa or everyplace", I emphasized, "evidently except Germany". Germany, indeed. There are still too many good Germans in Germany. That the promised (and paid for in-room internet service option did not, in fact, work at all, was another disappointment. But on this matter, the good German was praiseworthy: he did not charge for the cost of a service that had not functioned. He followed the rule that one must always follow the rules: No service, no charge; finally, something courteous.

The room we got was modern and spotless. The daily breakfast was delicious with bacon and breads to go with, as for instance

Clean rooms, friendly staff, reasonably priced restaurant and bar, good breakfast selection, convenient location near U-Bahn station.

Receptionist was very capable and pleasant and extremely helpful. It was close to Kelley Barracks. It was close to the u bahn and the price was very reasonable.

The bathroom did not have a normal ceiling. It was a bit cramped to get to the toilet. I stayed on the top floor and the loft was a bit tight for the bath room.

Bad cost performance. Old fashioned furnitures - for example a small tube tv and a tiny bath room. I wanted to work with my laptop, but the desk was too small and there was no free power socket on the desk. You must pay extra for WIFi access. For 88 eur you can find much more comfort room in the city centrum.

This place has a dependable reputation with welcoming staff and great amenities.

As families with children, we loved the outdoor restaurant with its lovely atmosphere. It was the heart of the hotel and could bring in a lot of business.

Felt really like home, nothing was too much trouble.

Conveniently located, just a short stroll away from a musical theatre 🎭. the restaurant is also really close by, only about 100 meters away.
